  CAP Member/Non-Member Engagement

Updated Septemebr 29, 2014

CAP member and non-member pathologists and/or laboratory professionals interested in immediate and future volunteer service on a CAP committee, project team, member survey panel, etc., should complete and submit a CAP Member/Non-Member Engagement Application [converted to a portable document format (PDF)] along with a current curriculum vitae (CV) [converted to a portable document format (PDF)] to CAP staff, Barbara J. Barrett, via email

The majority of 2015 CAP committee appointments have been determined. However, openings occur throughout the calendar year for various reasons and applicants on file will be given serious consideration when these vacancies arise.

Pathologists and/or laboratory professionals specifically interested in being considered for a 2016 CAP committee appointment should submit a completed application and CV no later than March 31, 2015. Submitted applications and CVs will be kept on file until December 31, 2015. Incomplete applications will not be considered. All submitted materials become the property of the CAP and will not be returned.

If you are unsure of your ability to meet volunteer obligations, please refrain from applying for service until your professional and personal schedules will allow you to fully participate.

Pathology residents, taking their board certification examination in 2015, may use the CAP Member/Non-Member Engagement Application to apply for committee service.
