The International Health Terminology Standards Development Organisation (IHTSDO®) releases updates to the International Release of SNOMED CT twice per year to ensure that the terminology reflects the latest clinical knowledge and evolving user needs. CAP STS develops and maintains SNOMED CT for the IHTSDO.

The latest CAP eCC release contains all of the new and updated content in the CAP Cancer protocols posted October 2009, and elements from the AJCC Cancer Staging Manual 7th Edition.
