Site Guide for CAP Web Site

title

Updated July 25, 2013

To help you access the resources you need, cap.org features more prominent navigation and full site search. Logging in is easy to do from anywhere on the site, too. Once you log in, personalized options appear as quick links on the left side of each page, providing you easy access to resources like e-LAB Solutions, your profile, and your education transcript.

Each section of cap.org is named to better reflect its contents. In addition, each section has a home page to reduce the number of clicks you have to make to access useful resources and to show you the amount of useful information provided via the Web site.

This means that all of the features and resources have new locations on the site:

  • e-LAB Solutions for online proficiency testing can be quickly accessed from your personalized options once you log in.
  • Information about the CAP’s proficiency testing programs is located in the “Accreditation and Laboratory Improvement.”
  • Accreditation inspection checklists are also located in the “Accreditation and Laboratory Improvement.”
  • Articles from CAP TODAY and information about Archives of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine can be found in “Reference Resources and Publications.”
  • Cancer protocols and checklists can be found in “Reference Resources and Publications.”
