An 11-year-old girl presented in hemolytic crisis with fulminant hepatic failure requiring liver transplantation. Viral serologies were negative. The serum ceruloplasmin level was 4.2 mg/dL (low). The explanted liver weighed 984 g and was diffusely nodular. No discrete masses were identified. A PAS with diastase histochemical stain was negative in the liver.
