An 18-year-old G1P1 woman, four months postpartum, presented to the emergency room after passing tissue per vagina. Following an ultrasound, she underwent a dilation and curettage (D&C). Flow cytometry performed on the D&C tissue found a DNA index of 1.94 (near tetraploid).
