| CAP Announces the Richard E. Horowitz, MD, Fund

Two generous donors have contributed gifts to create a special fund in honor and recognition of the exemplary service of Richard E. Horowitz, MD, recipient of the 2000 ASCP/CAP Joint Distinguished Service Award.
Earnings from this fund will support the CAP Foundation’s education and research programs with preference given to projects in pathology informatics and laboratory management.
The fund was initiated by a generous anonymous donor and matched by the UCLA Dept. of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine.
