  CAP LINKS for Q-Tracks

Updated September 23, 2005

The Q-TRACKS Program offers a continuous look at key anatomic and clinical pathology processes across all laboratories in your organization. Critical pre- and post-analytical processes include turnaround time, patient and physician satisfaction, and effectiveness of care. CAP LINKS provides useful internal and external comparisons for timely and effective quality management system-wide. Monitoring and improving the total testing cycle, from collection of a specimen to reporting of a patient result, ensures that you can have confidence in the patient results you provide.

CAP LINKS reports present key indicators in an easy-to-interpret format. Graphical and tabular views highlight individual and system performance, allowing for simple identification of improvement opportunities. Individual laboratory data includes relative and comparative performance against their closest peer group using the College's patented fingerprint methodology.

With CAP LINKS you can:

  • Standardize procedures across your organization
  • Monitor effectiveness of change implemented at each laboratory site
  • Compare performance across your laboratory sites
  • Enhance the opportunity for effective communication throughout your organization
