Several cytopathology courses will be presented by current and past members of the CAP Cytopathology Committee at the Sept. 19-22 CAP ’04 annual meeting in Phoenix. Microscope tutorials will be held Sept. 19 and 20 in several subject areas, including adequacy and squamous lesions, body cavity fluids, breast, lymph nodes, and salivary glands. Attendees of these workshops will earn 1.5 CME/CE hours. On Sept. 20, programs include a half-day course in nongynecologic cytology and a half-day course in gynecologic cytology, with participants earning 3.0 CME/CE hours for each program.

Dr. Hughes, a member of the CAP Cytopathology Committee, is staff pathologist at Laboratory Medicine Consultants, Las Vegas. Dr. Wilbur, chair of the CAP Nongynecologic Working Group, is director of cytology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.
