Reports to: Board of Governors

Charge: To recruit, involve, and retain members; to ascertain members needs; to evaluate and recommend benefits and enhancements for membership development and mentoring; to provide closer affiliation with state and local pathology societies. To raise the image of pathologists as physicians, and the College as an organization, concerned with the public welfare; to advance the leadership skills of members by providing training for and demonstrating the personal and professional benefits of leadership, patient advocacy, and service; to address ethical issues affecting the practice of pathology; and to identify and respond to issues that impact pathologists, the medical community, and the public.
