Pathologists Weigh-In on CAP’s Advanced Practical Pathology ProgramsPosted April 17, 2012

A full 100% of pathologists who participated in the CAP’s recently launched Laboratory Medical Director Advanced Practical Pathology Program (LMD AP3) reported that they would recommend the program to a fellow pathologist.

“I highly recommend it for LMD veterans and neophytes alike,” said participant Joseph E. Willis, MD, FCAP. “The course pre-work was comprehensive, and the workshop was engaging and thought-provoking.”

The CAP AP3s provide board-certified pathologists with a path to learn new skills and earn recognition for the expertise they have acquired through practice. In addition to the LMD offering, the growing AP3 portfolio includes transformational studies in pathologist-led ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration, multidisciplinary breast pathology, and breast predictive factors testing.

Learn how AP3s provide a new level of pathology education. Registration is open, and seating is available for September and October 2012 workshops.
