Delegate/Alternate term is 3 years. All current Delegate/Alternates term expires April 30, 2014. To remain in the CAP HOD, you must self nominate and run for election. Deadline for self-nomination and state endorsement is November 15, 2013. The next election will take place in early 2014 with newly elected Delegates/Alternates taking their seats for the first meeting of the new term at the Fall ’14 meeting in Chicago IL.
With 354 current members, the CAP HOD is becoming the place to be. Don’t miss out on having an opportunity to be part of one of the fasting growing, highly engaged communities within the CAP. Many delegations are currently full with members waiting in the wings. Submit your Candidate Form today to ensure your name on the ballot and start campaigning to solidify your seat in the House.

HOD Members who registered and attend HOD meetings are eligible for reimbursement. Attendance at one HOD meeting in the calendar year enables the delegate for up to 100 in reimbursement. Attendance at two HOD meetings in the same calendar year enables the delegate for up to a total of $300 in reimbursement. Receipts must be provided for the amount to which you are eligible. To claim your reimbursement, follow these instructions:
- Register online for the meeting so we know you are coming.
- Sign in at the HOD registration desk the morning of the meeting so we know you were there.
- Complete the member reimbursement form (Excel, 169 KB) and send it in along with the appropriate receipt(s) for the amount you are claiming. Send all forms and appropriate receipts to Marci Zerante via email or fax: 847-832-8656.
