  • Modify (narrow) QC range.
  • Increase frequency of calibration.
  • Perform instrument function verification.
  • Revise the analytic procedure.
  • Design a process to verify clerical entries before PT result submission.
  • Retrain testing personnel in the proper procedures for sample preparation, testing, and reporting.
