CAP@Your Service - April 2006
National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week (April 23-29, 2006) is a special time set aside to recognize the important role that pathologists and other laboratory professionals play in treating patients. This year’s theme is “Laboratory Professionals: Providing Answers. Guiding Cures.”
To celebrate this week, the CAP has dedicated a special section on the College’s Web site (www.cap.org) to help you promote National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week in your community and to your co-workers. In this section, you will find

In addition, the CAP offers your laboratory a chance to WIN $500 toward your lab’s Education Fund (all entries must include a CAP lab number to be eligible.) You may enter the match contest online. Or, if you subscribe to CAPnews, you can complete the contest found in the Spring issue by matching the statement in column A to the appropriate word from column B.
There will be two $500 first prizewinners, one from each contest. There will also be two-second prizewinners of a CAP publication of choice. The contest deadline is April 29. Only one entry per institution either from the online or paper contest will be eligible.
