The College of American Pathologists Foundation has developed its first conference series, “Futurescape,” to provide a forum for participants to discuss technology changes in the field of pathology and how this period of massive transformation will impact the profession.

“Technologies Designing the Future of Anatomic Pathology” is the first conference in the series, which will take place on June 9-10, 2007, at the Westin O’Hare Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois. At the conference, pathologists, representatives from Fortune 100 companies, and others interested in the future of anatomic pathology will come together to hear presentations from leading pathologists, other physicians, investors, diagnostic industry leaders, and corporate researchers, who will assess the long-term practice options.
