  Submit Cases for Autopsy Program

CAP@Your Service – Residents Issue – Summer 2008

Consider submitting autopsy cases for the Autopsy Pathology (AU) Education Program. The AU Program provides challenging autopsy cases, illustrative gross and/or microscopy images, and questions and discussion directed at aspects of interpretive analysis, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, cause of death, and quality assurance. This provides an opportunity for residents to develop writing proficiency and have peer-reviewed cases listed on their CV.

The junior member assigned to the Autopsy Committee would be a co-author and work with the submitting resident throughout the editing process. Case images need to be submitted in JPEG format and provided on a CD-ROM. Contact Chris Bashleben for more information, including specific case submission and formatting guidelines.
