Pathologists increasingly rely on non-pathologist practice managers in creating and maintaining the organizational support required to provide quality patient care. Pathologists are involving professional pathology practice management professionals in their practice to handle the escalating pressures generated by government regulations, complex payers contracts, payment audits, increased competition, and changes in technology.

The purpose of the Practice Managers Forum is to foster effective interactive communication and collaboration between practice managers and pathologists to benefit the practice of pathology and patient care.
