Updated December 15, 2008

All studies below are available for ordering.

QP051 - Identification Errors
Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine: Vol. 130, No. 8, pp. 1103–1113
Objective: Examine how well your laboratory prevents identification errors by detecting them before results are released to caregivers. Participants in this study will compare their identification error rates and the percentage of errors detected before results are released to other institutions. This study will also seek to identify institutional processes and factors more likely to be found in laboratories that detect a high proportion of identification errors before results are released.
Cost: $20.00

QP052 - Urine Culture Contamination
Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine: Vol. 132, No. 6, pp. 913–917.
Objective: Investigate the frequency of urine culture contamination in outpatient specimens collected or processed by your facility, how this rate compares with that of other institutions, and what institutional processes or factors contribute to a lower contamination rate. It will also identify factors associated with high contamination rates.
Cost: $20.00

QP053 - HPV Testing
Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine: Vol. 131, No. 10, pp. 1525–1531.

Cost: $20.00

QP054 - Reference Ranges and Critical Values Comparisons
Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine: Vol. 131, No. 3, pp. 348-357.
Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine: Vol. 131, No. 12, pp. 1769–1775.
