eCC deprecated items are data elements that have been retired from practical use in the checklists, but that are provided at the end of each XML file for the vendors and users as legacy reference information. We are currently working on creating maps to link each deprecated item back to the last eCC release in which it appeared, as well as to link it back to the current data element used in the checklist, where applicable. These maps will help users see when and where changes have been made rather than needing to refer to the eCC Reference Document change tables. They will be released in 2013 to the user community.
