Customized Terminology and Standards Education
CAP STS offers customized terminology and standards education to complement all consulting Professional Services. Education services include:

In addition to its SNOMED CT expertise, CAP STS employs staff and consultants who are highly skilled in the application of other healthcare standards such as HL7, ICD-9 and ICD-10, CPT-4, DICOM, LOINC®, RxNorm, and others. CAP STS provides instruction and consulting to health care system vendors, providers, integrators, consulting firms, and governments in the use of these standards.
CAP STS is also represented in the standards community through its work on the HL7 working committees, the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) Standards and Interoperability Framework working committees, the U.S. Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT), and DICOM’s workgroup 26 (pathology) and workgroup 8 (structured reporting), among others.
