Medical Knowledge Patient Care

A variety of new and evolving clinicopathologic entities have been recognized in nonneoplastic pulmonary pathology. This course provides a case-based examination of recently described entities, including criteria for diagnosis. Topics of discussion include tobacco-related interstitial lung diseases, IgG4-related lung disease, new concepts in constrictive bronchiolitis/small airway disease, acute exacerbation of chronic interstitial pneumonias, adverse pulmonary reactions to new molecular targeted therapies, and new insights into pulmonary manifestations of systemic diseases.
