Do you know that the Joint Commission requires every laboratory to establish a list of critical values for clinical pathology? In addition, anatomic pathologists have begun to establish and monitor critical diagnoses. Learn how innovative practices have responded in establishing practice-unique critical values and critical diagnoses. The course will feature perspectives from an experienced laboratory medical director from a large academic medical center in clinical pathology and a surgical pathologist from a busy pathology practice. The session will include ample time for questions and answers.
