Cytogenomic microarray testing is a relatively new technique that permits high-resolution analysis of the entire human genome in a single assay. Initially and primarily using the technique in the diagnosis of constitutional abnormalities, pathologists have increasingly adopted this methodology in the diagnosis and prognostication of a variety of malignancies. This course introduces pathologists to the strengths and limitations of this emerging technology..
