Anatomic pathologists are generating and managing increasing quantities of data for each case they handle. These include systematic morphologic observations, ancillary testing, simultaneous clinical lab data, and clinical data. Learn the advantages of structured data reporting (SDR) for handling and presenting complex data sets, for applying QA processes to your laboratory, and for improving patient care delivery. Faculty will review pertinent literature and selected software, ranging from large commercial packages to public domain software solutions, and discuss an implementation of SDR from clinical medicine.
