Gynecologic pathology can cause diagnostic difficulty; textbooks rarely address the topic effectively. In an organ-specific approach to these challenges, this course will cover recognition of differentiated vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia (VIN), criteria for superficial invasion in vulva and cervix, mimickers of cervical adenocarcinoma, artifacts, drug effects and metaplasia of the endometrium, and recognition of early molar pregnancies.

You will learn to:

Identify subtle lesions such as differentiated VIN and early hydatidiform moles
Apply different criteria for superficially invasive carcinoma in cervix and vulva
Recognize artifact drug effects and metaplasias in endometrial biopsies
Identify mimickers of endocervical adenocarcinoma
