Medical Knowledge Practice-Based Learning and Improvement

Learn about recommendations on analytic (technical) validation of immunohistochemistry assays in this course. Analytic validation is essential to ensuring that an assay performs as expected, accurately identifies and/or quantifies the targeted analyte, and minimizes the chances of false positive or false negative results. Faculty will review the evidence-based guidelines on IHC assay validation that were recently developed by the CAP Pathology and Laboratory Quality Center.
