NEW  ST106  Create Your Own Pathology Wiki Website

Monday, October 14
8:00–11:30 AM
3.0 CME/CE CREDITS

System Based Practice Interpersonal and Communication Skills

Learn how to create your own pathology wiki website so that you can more easily share information with colleagues. A wiki is a website that can be edited and changed easily in a collaborative fashion by multiple users. Wikipedia, one of the most popular websites on the entire Internet, is the best known example of a wiki. The skills needed to use, edit, and even create your own wiki are simple and do not require any advanced computer knowledge. Attendees will learn what wikis are, how they work, and the applications and uses for which they are best suited. During the course, each attendee will create a live, online, personally-designed, pathology-focused wiki site. Participants will also acquire the skills and knowledge needed to continue building and editing their wiki after the course.
