System Based Practice Patient Care

Clinical practice is critically dependent on secure, accurate, and timely data. Reliable interfaces between instruments, middleware, the laboratory information system (LIS), and the electronic health record (EHR) are essential for modern laboratories. Learn about new tools that help us enhance LISs and EHRs and maximize the value of digital imaging. Ensure your LIS meets clinical needs, and leverage it to automate and improve your practice. Faculty will emphasize strategies to help you prepare your practice as they discuss hot topics in LIS, security of data, and use of digital pathology. This course is applicable to all pathologists, pathology trainees, and other laboratory professionals. Attend this session and learn how digital imaging in pathology has made substantial progress.
