Sunday, October 13
9:30–11:30 AM

Patient Care Medical Knowledge

Every pathologist encounters cases of breast cancer predictive factor testing that are challenging to diagnose. In this session, the presenter will discuss problematic cases from her experience that present challenges in diagnosis due to specimen handling or analytic testing issues, interpretation problems, discrepant results, reporting confusion, or provider discomfort. Cases will be provided before the session along with questions to be considered. During this video microscopy tutorial, each case will be reviewed with the audience, and the pathway to the diagnosis will be defined.
