Patient Care Medical Knowledge

Learn about the practical issues in daily practice related to the interpretation of urinary tract lesions using an integrated histology, cytology, and molecular FISH approach in this case-based course. Faculty will discuss the characteristic histologic, cytologic, and FISH findings in 15 cases of wide-ranging pathology, including biopsy artifacts, viral infection, radiation and chemo-cystitis, histologic variants, grading and staging of bladder cancer, and differential diagnosis of glandular and squamous lesions. Discussion will focus on how to integrate these findings in formulating clinically meaningful diagnoses.
