CAP FoundationAdvance the Science and Connect With Those in Need

The CAP Foundation champions patient-centered and humanitarian roles for pathologists, striving to connect people, especially those in need, to the specialized, life-saving skills of pathologists.

The Herbek Humanitarian Award

This award draws its inspiration from Gene N. Herbek, MD, FCAP, and his wife, Jean, and their unwavering commitment to patient care and vision to establish the See, Test & Treat® program. The CAP Foundation will bestow the Herbek Humanitarian Award to a CAP member at the CAP ’13 Spotlight Event.
