The Path to a Future in Medicine: High School Program This year the College will recognize five outstanding high school science students with its “Path to a Future in Medicine” Award. Working with Chicago-area high schools, CAP’s unique program highlights the work of some of the best high school science students in the area. Registration and CredentialsCredentialing CAP Media Credential Policy Press badges are necessary to attend CAP ’07 courses and events. For information on how to be admitted to the meeting, please call 1-800-323-4040, ext. 7538 before the meeting, or visit the CAP Media Center in the Sheraton Hotel and Towers during the week of the meeting. Media Credentials Only representatives of the following media will be registered:
Representatives from a publication must represent the editorial staff. Advertising or marketing representatives will not be registered as press. Freelancers must produce a letter of assignment from an outlet such as those listed above. Freelancers who wish to attend the meeting without specific editorial assignment must present credentials indicating membership in a recognized professional communications association, or submit copies of published examples of their work along with appropriate identification. Freelancers who wish further interpretation of this policy are encouraged to contact the CAP at 1-800-323-4040 ext. 7538. Any individual with a press badge who sells, markets or represents a company for the purpose of obtaining advertising or subscriptions from any registrant will immediately forfeit press credentials for this and subsequent meetings. General Conditions Press credentials to cover CAP ’07 will be granted to a maximum of three individuals from any one media organization or publication group. Those desiring to send additional representatives must contact the CAP at 1-800-323-4040, ext. 7438 either before the meeting or in the CAP media area at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers. Press representatives may cover all scientific courses and events at CAP ’07 with the exception of sessions and meetings that are designated as restricted or closed. Printed materials are not available for all workshops. Media representatives can receive printed materials for a program if there is surplus after all registered workshop participants have received a copy. |
