At CAP ’08, Mary Matalin and James Carville shared the stage to provide a look at the 2008 presidential race and even answered audience questions at Saturday evening’s Spotlight Event, on September 27. Mary delivered a unique Republican perspective on the economic troubles facing America today as well as the presidential debate. She was the first White House official to hold the double title of having served as assistant to President George W. Bush and counselor to Vice President Dick Cheney.

America’s best-known political consultant, James Carville, provided a few secrets to his knack for re-making political underdogs into upset winners, including his view on the economic challenges and other issues facing the next president of the United States.
