The Case for Giving

We have worked diligently to be good stewards of your generosity and we certainly hope that we have earned your trust. Our ultimate goal is to build a stronger relationship with you—by supporting your needs while you are in practice, and with residents who are in training. We are here for you.

Your generosity makes it possible for us to provide financial assistance to practitioners and residents seeking advanced training, to explore innovative research, and engage in humanitarian efforts that offer pathology-related initiatives that otherwise would not be available to them. With your help, we can continue to provide much needed funds to pathologists and residents in training around the world.

We need friends, like you, to give generously in order for us to continue to be a leader. We are especially grateful to the College of American Pathologists (CAP) for generously supporting all of the Foundation’s administrative needs. Why? Because it means that 100% of all gifts received from contributors—you—can be used to support programs and humanitarian initiatives. Approximately 60% of your contributions are used to support pathologists and residents seeking advanced training in the use of new technology and approximately 40% supports humanitarian efforts.
