Developing specialized expertise in new and growing areas of pathology and embracing emerging technologies are critically important to CAP members. Currently 20% of CAP members collaborate with other physicians using a patient’s genomic information and another 32% are likely or very likely to do so in the next 3 to 5 years. Today, 46% of Members integrate diagnostic information from a variety of sources and disciplines into a clinically relevant report, but another 35% are likely or very likely to do so in the next 3 to 5 years.
