The College of American Pathologists' (CAP's) Residents Forum (RF) gives pathology residents a voice in organized pathology, promotes involvement of young leaders in College activities, and establishes a network for pathology residents.
Artists in Residents, Funding a Worthy Cause
Three finalists in our first Residents Forum Photography Contest were displayed at CAP17. Thanks to all who took part and congratulations to our winners:
- First place: Katrina Collins, MD, Hartford Hospital, Hartford, Connecticut, for "Sentinel Sparrow."
- Second place: Daniel Larson, MD, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, for "Cracked Coverslip."
- Third place: Adam Booth, MD, University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas, for "Sand Dollars on a Galveston Beach."

The three pieces were auctioned at the CAP Foundation counter in bidding that extended through Tuesday, October. 10. All totaled, 15 bidders vied to take home the works, raising nearly $700 for the CAP Foundation in the process.
