Our Newest Offerings

Whole Blood Viscoelastic Assays in Clinical Diagnosis: An Illustrated Case-based Guide (PUB231)

A comprehensive, visually appealing resource, Whole Blood Viscoelastic Assays in Clinical Diagnosis benefits pathologists and other laboratory personnel in testing and result interpretation through case use studies for hemostatic disorders, pregnancy, trauma, cardiac surgery, and more.

“It is my hope that readers will perceive this book as a comprehensive yet concise tool that allows them to refresh their knowledge of hemostasis, understand the FDA-approved and off-label clinical applications of their chosen viscoelastic assays, and learn how to interpret different VEA results within the context of a patient’s medical history.” – Oksana Volod, MD, FCAP

Disruptive Technologies in Clinical Medicine (PUB318)

This new book invites readers to consider the implications of thirteen novel technologies on laboratory medicine, and to harness future opportunities for better patient care.

“By reviewing previous technological innovations, the reader can see their patterns in and consider their effects on laboratory medicine. Only by understanding the impact of disruptive technologies can we be ready to harness new opportunities to expand the frontiers of pathology.” Frederick L. Kiechle, MD, PhD, FCAP

Color Atlas of Flow Cytometry (PUB230)

This atlas offers 70+ cases, complete with images, photomicrographs, dot plots, and thorough discussions to help laboratory professionals identify difficult-to-diagnose disease categories.

“This new atlas is a useful resource for clinical flow cytometry laboratories, practicing hematopathologists, clinical immunologists, students, and trainees. It provides examples of the entire range of hematolymphoid diseases and contains a variety of challenging cases from actual CAP flow cytometry surveys, so users can see how other practitioners interpreted them, as well the scope and limitations of different antibody panels.” David M. Dorfman, MD, PhD, FCAP
