Engaged Leadership Academy
The Engaged Leadership Academy (ELA) is a strategic communications and leadership course offered by the CAP to foster pathology leaders. ELA leaders possess the skills, tools, and confidence to be front and center in their health care settings and to engage their clinical colleagues, administrators, government agencies, and advocacy groups for the benefit of pathology and the patient.

As an ELA participant you will:
- Learn critical communication skills while earning CME credit.
- Strengthen your ability to demonstrate the value of the work you do to colleagues, legislators, and the public.
- Enjoy your learning experience with other CAP member pathologists from around the country.
As an ELA graduate you will:
- Be prepared to lobby for your practice and your profession both inside and outside your institution.
- Receive the support of the CAP in various engagement opportunities.
