House of Delegates
The House of Delegates (HOD), the largest member body within the CAP, serves as your direct connection to CAP Leadership and pathologists across the country. The House is composed of over 500 elected members representing all 50 states, the Canadian provinces, and the Armed Forces, all united in the goal of ensuring that CAP initiatives meet the needs of CAP members.
CAP Peer Inspections
Our accreditation programs are built on a unique, peer-based model that benefits both the laboratories being inspected and the inspector. As a CAP inspector, you can gain fresh insight into best practices to take back to your laboratory. You’ll also be better prepared to identify gaps in your own compliance efforts, helping you prepare for your laboratory’s inspection.

PathPAC, the CAP Advocacy’s political action committee, pursues the election and reelection of candidates for federal office who understand the value of pathology in improving patient care and who help advance the CAP’s positions on key issues related to pathology. PathPAC uniquely amplifies our specialty’s voice in the election process.
PathNET
PathNET connects CAP members with their elected officials at the federal and state levels. Through PathNET, the CAP’s grassroots advocacy network, pathologists can build relationships with their legislators and assist the CAP in achieving our legislative goals.
