ISO 17043 Accreditation for Proficiency Testing

The CAP is committed to providing the highest quality proficiency testing (PT) materials possible. As an accrediting organization, we recognize the value in having an independent assessment of our management system for our PT programs. That’s why the CAP is accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) to the international standard ISO 17043:2023 for PT.

Not only are our PT/External Quality Assessment (EQA) programs designed by experts in their field to help you verify the accuracy and reliability of your testing process, but you can also be confident that the programs we provide are of the highest quality. As medicine, technology, and pathology evolve, our comprehensive range of PT/EQA programs also continue to evolve, helping your laboratory to stay ahead of new technologies and rapidly changing testing requirements.

Our Quality Policy

  • To satisfy customer expectations;
  • To provide proficiency services of the highest level of professionalism and integrity, accredited or approved to those standards against which our quality management system has been established;
  • To implement and continually improve our quality management system and its effectiveness, consistent with this quality policy;
  • To ensure that all clients are treated equitably and impartially and that their confidentiality is maintained;
  • To consider market needs when developing new services;
  • To ensure that this quality policy is understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels within our organization.
