Edmond Ma, MD, FCAP, comments on Droplet digital polymerase chain reaction.  “The sensitivity and resolution of ddPCR is 100 times higher than conventional PCR methods, allowing physicians to obtain a more detailed picture of MRD status,” explains Dr. Ma. “The meticulously designed ddPCR assays aim to guide individualized therapy for each patient by accurately tracking and targeting the rare mutated genes in these patients.”
