Ljubisa Dragovic, MD, FCAP, medical examiner for Oakland County, Michigan, comments on the recent death of a boy from respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). “The child was diagnosed in the hospital and survived in the hospital for several hours, I believe, with severe respiratory distress,” said Dr. Dragovic.
