The College of American pathologists (CAP) receives a $1 million contract from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The $1 million contract is intended to develop and improve laboratory test coding standardization and usability to improve public health and patient care. The contract term is for at least one year, and it could expand to up to three years and additional funding.
