NORTHFIELD, Ill. (September 23, 2026) — The College of American Pathologists (CAP) AI Studio has been named one of the Top 100 Finalists in the 25th annual Chicago Innovation Awards. The awards recognize organizations developing innovative products and services across the Chicago region.
CAP AI Studio was recognized for providing pathologists with a trusted, vendor-neutral environment to explore, evaluate, and compare artificial intelligence tools using real pathology cases. The platform helps pathologists build the confidence and knowledge needed for informed clinical adoption of AI technologies.
As a Top 100 Finalist, CAP AI Studio is also eligible for the Chicago Innovation Awards People’s Choice Award. Online voting is open through October 16, and supporters can cast their votes at the Chicago Innovation Awards website.
The Chicago Innovation Awards judges will select 20 winners from the Top 100 Finalists. Winners will be announced November 17 at the UIC Forum in Chicago.
