Last week, we highlighted how the CAP’s grassroots program is about more than sending action alerts and attending Hill Day. Throughout August, CAP advocates put those opportunities into action, from hosting laboratory tours and meeting with congressional offices to engaging fellow pathologists in advocacy efforts.

The bottom line: From Pennsylvania and Iowa to North Carolina and Missouri, CAP members showed that advocacy can take many forms, and every personal connection helps strengthen pathology’s voice on Capitol Hill.
