Kennedy Confirmed to Lead HHS

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been confirmed by the Senate to lead the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Mr. Kennedy, who was a candidate for president before withdrawing and endorsing President Trump's candidacy for election, will now lead the HHS, which administers Medicare, Medicaid, the Food and Drug Administration, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institutes of Health, and other federal health agencies.

The CAP will provide further updates as the confirmation process continues.
