- Increased Workload Challenges and Ways to Mitigate Them

Description
We will discuss the challenges seen when there are shortages of pathologists and/or increases in the workload and will give personal experiences with this from private practice (Dr. Foster) and industry (Dr. Rothrock) perspectives. Some techniques and strategies will be offered/discussed to prevent and limit the deleterious effects of increased workload. There will be some discussion of physician burnout as well.

- Learn strategies to compensate for an increased workload.
- Recognize the effects of being overworked.
- Learn some ways to mitigate the effects of increases in work and/or changes to staff.
