Updated PT/EQA Program Packaging

The CAP updated packaging of its proficiency testing (PT)/external quality assessment (EQA) programs to ensure these products arrive in optimal condition. After conducting various analyses and testing, we have rolled out a subset of programs. The below programs will be shipped featuring the new packaging.

The updates are visible inside and outside the individual kit shipper box, featuring: 

• Improved insulation and coolants for enhanced cold chain temperature performance 
• Custom insert to hold and protect the specimens to reduce potential damage or misplacement 
• CAP-branded label for easier identification containing PT/EQA to allow for timely handling 
• Icons and callouts for clarity to minimize delivery delays in transit and within the customer site 
• Design allows for more consistency and standardization in assembly and appearance across our wide range of programs while providing flexibility to meet the different program and shipping needs
