Act Now: Reverse Medicare Cuts

Pathologists are using the CAP's PathNET Action Center to compel Congress to reverse the 2025 Medicare cuts.

These cuts drastically impact pathologists' ability to serve patients in a timely manner, from staffing laboratories to buying supplies and keeping up with inflation. Pathologists are anticipated to see a net 6% reduction in revenues in 2025, as Medicare reimbursement has dropped by close to 2.5%, while expenses are expected to increase by 3.5%.

In order to ensure patients receive quality care, pathologists must urge Congress to reverse the cuts.

The CAP strongly opposes the ongoing Medicare cuts to physician reimbursement and continues working with lawmakers and partners to reverse the cuts and enact long-term payment reforms.

CAP members can act now by using our grassroots network to message their congressional representatives, urging them to stop the cuts.
